Prishtina, 06 November 2026, dtt-net.com - The Central Bank of Kosovo Friday applied for accession to the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), for faster and lower cost financial transactions within member countries of the area.
‘This development is the result of continuous work over the past years to align the legal and regulatory framework with European Union standards, modernize the payment infrastructure and strengthen institutional capacities,” the bank said in a media statement.
