Prishtina, 03 February 2026, dtt-net.com – A former member of Serbia forces was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months prison term on charges of war crimes in Kosovan Albanians during the 1998-1999 war of independence from Serbia.
Judges of the Basic Court in capital Prishtina today found guilty Srdjan Lazovic of war crimes on civilians of the Panorc village of the municipality of Malisheva. He is found guilty of mistreating hundreds of inhabitants, forcible deportation and burning of their houses in September 1998.
