Kosovo goes to new elections as parties fail to elect President

Prishtina, 28 April 2026, dtt-net.com - Early elections in Kosovo will take place within 45 days from today, as parties failed to elect country’s new President for the second time this year amid lack of compromise for a consensual candidate. The session which started yesterday and was postponed today three times did not meet the condition of two-third quorum, as opposition parties refused to attend because of lack of compromise.
