Germany’s Parliament approves troops mandate extension in Kosovo as part of NATO force, and EU force in Bosnia

Berlin/Prishtina/Sarajevo, 12 June 2026, dtt-net.com - The Bundestag has approved a proposal of the government for continuation of Germany's contribution to the NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo (KFOR) in its second reading, and also to EU’s force in Bonia and Herzegovina (BiH), for another year. “This commitment will continue until May 2027,” the Defence Ministry said today in a press release following the approval by the Federal Parliament on KFOR.
