Tirana, 02 July 2026, dtt-net.com – Albania protesters and police clashed today in front of the parliament, as tensions with authorities over construction plans by government in coastal areas are escalating after 33 consecutive days of protests.
Clashes started after hundreds of protesters surrounded the parliament compound throwing eggs on the vehicles and lawmakers of the ruling Socialist Party (PS) when they tried to leave the parliament after a session boycotted by the main opposition Democratic Party (PD) ended.
