Tirana, 15 June 2026, dtt-net.com – A ruling lawmaker of Albanian Socialist Party (PS) today quit the party, in the first internal blow for the Prime Minister Edi Rama, as anti-PM protests continue for 15th consecutive day triggered by touristic resorts construction plans in coastal areas by Qatari investors and Donald trump’s son-in-law.
“From today I am an independent member of parliament. My ideals and values are those that I have and expressed them before associating with a party. They cross my limits,” MP Marjana Koçeku announced through Facebook.
