Brussels, 06 July 2026, dtt-net.com - Serbia is unlikely to unlock stalled EU entry talks any time soon, despite push by the European Commission (EC) and some member states to open eight negotiating chapters of the Cluster 3 (Competitiveness and inclusive growth) next week, as a split group of six countries reject making the step because of rule of law deterioration in the candidate country, dtt-net.com learns from sources in Brussels.
According to EU diplomats, Netherlands, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Bulgaria, are against EC push group and other 21 member countries for opening the cluster next week.
