Prishtina, 28 July 2026, dtt-net.com – Kosovo’s Special Prosecution Office announced today that exhumation of remains of civilians have started today by forensic authorities in Zubin Potok municipality, with bodies believed to be of more than 20 Albanians killed by Serbia forces during the 1998-1999 war of independence from Serbia.
“At the request of the Special Prosecution Office and based on the order of the Basic Court in Pristina, the competent institutions are carrying out the exhumation with the aim of identifying mortal remains at a location in the Municipality of Zubin Potok,” the prosecution said.
