Wildfires hit Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia too

Sarajevo/Skopje 04 August 2026, dtt-net.com - Dozens of wildfires are reported in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), with most of them in the Bosniak-Croat entity, amid heatwave in the recent days. Local authorities reported twelve fires in the Herzegovina-Neretva County, over the past 24 hours. At least seven of them are extinguished while efforts continue in remaining ones, with authorities saying that most of them are under control.
