Sarajevo/Belgrade, 31 August 2026, dtt-net.com – Associations of professional truck drivers of the four countries today held street protests, including in front of office of EU delegations in the four capitals, calling the EU and its member states to ease visa restrictions for their daily export/import of merchandise to and from the European bloc’s territory.
Truck drivers called for “an urgent solution to the problem of the limited period of stay of professional drivers in the Schengen countries,” over the rule of 90-day stay in the EU territory for the period of 180 days, the association of truck drivers in Serbia said in a press statement over the protest held in Belgrade.
