Commemoration of war criminal held in Serbia

Belgrade, 06 September 2026, dtt-net.com – A commemoration ceremony was held yesterday in Serbia’s capital of Belgrade for the war criminal known as the “Butcher of Bosnia”, Ratko Mladić, who died in the Hague last month while serving lifetime sentence over Srebrenica Genocide. Serbia’s Minister of Justice of Serbia Nenad Vujić, President of Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Siniša Karan, entity’s ministers of interior, Željko Budimir, and of labour and veterans', Radan Ostojić, attended the commemoration. Funeral of the convicted war criminal will take place on Monday with military and state honours to be organized by Serbia authorities.
