Tirana, 16 July 2024, dtt-net.com – The High Court of Albania today rejected a request of the former Prime Minister and leader of the main opposition party, Sali Berisha, for release from the house arrest, where he is being held since late December on the demand of the prosecution related to the ongoing investigation of “passive corruption” and abuse of office charges during his 2005-2009 mandate.
