Tirana, 10 June 2026, dtt-net.com – dozens of thousands of citizens rallied today for five hours in capital Tirana, for the eleventh consecutive and in the biggest ever protest against the Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government, triggered by construction plans of touristic resort in two coastal areas by Qatari investors and Donald Trump’s daughter and son-in-law.
Protesters marched through the streets of capital to the office of Rama chanting “Rama resign”, as the Prime Minister continues insisting to go ahead with resorts which protesters, mostly young, reject citing environmental and biodiversity concerns.
