Brussels/Tirana, 02 March 2026, dtt-net.com – The biggest political group in the European Parliament has addressed strong criticism toward the Prime Minister Edi Rama and his ruing party, of what it called “democratic backsliding”, marred with organized crime and “capture of state”.
The Secretary General of the European People's Party, (EPP) Dolors Montserrat, through a video also criticized Albania institutions controlled by Edi Rama of harming independence of judicial structures [prosecutors and judges], rule of law and freedom of media.
