Podgorica, 20 June 2024, dtt-net.com – A bomb explosion near a sport centre early this morning in Montenegrin town Cetinje killed two persons and injured three others, local police said.
“Today, near the Sports Centre in Cetinje, around 9:10 a.m., due to the activation of an explosive device, two people were killed, while three people were injured,” police said in a press release.
The injured are sent to the local hospital for medical treatment, of which one with severe injuries.
Police has deployed at the scene and an investigation is already launched by the prosecution.
“In order to establish all the circumstances and facts, and shed light on this event, officers of the Police Administration, in coordination with the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, are undertaking intensive investigative measures and actions, the course and outcome of which will be informed to the public in a timely manner,” police said.
