Sarajevo, 27 August 2025, dtt-net.com – The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is expected at its meeting of Thursday (August 28) to set a date for holding early elections for Serb entity President post, after it terminated the mandate of Milorad Dodik following court sentence banning him from holding the post for six years.
The early election is expected to be boycotted by Dodik’s SNSD party and its governing partners in the entity, while at the same time entity’s Parliament has called for a referendum in late October against the ruling of BiH court which follows refusal of Dodik to implement decisions of western-backed envoy Christian Schmidt…
