Sarajevo, 26 August 2026, dtt-net.com – The Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Edin Forto, announced that he will be with truck drivers on Monday (August 31) at the street protest, which will also take place in front of EU office in capital Sarajevo, as no solution is being found by the EU to their complains over limitations caused to their daily export and import of merchandise to and from the EU by the current rule of 90 days of stay for 180-day period in European bloc’s territory.
"I'll be with the carriers and drivers on the 31st August. The right to work is not a privilege. This is a message that we should send together to the European Commission,” Forto in a media statement.
