Croatia’s Parliament expresses support to electoral law changes calls by main party of Bosnia’s Croats

Sarajevo/Zagreb, 15 July 2026, dtt-net.com – The Parliament of Croatia today in a resolution expressed its support to the main party of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and its allies for changes to BiH electoral law related to election of Croat member of tri-partite Presidency from Bosniak-Croat entity. “The Croatian Parliament supports the electoral models proposed by the legitimate representatives of the Croat people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which would ensure legitimate political representation of Croats, including the proposal to establish a separate electoral unit for the election of the Croat member of the Presidency of BiH,” reads the resolution adopted today with 83 votes in favour, 1 against, and 3 abstentions.
