Belgrade, 25 August 2025, dtt-net.com – The chairman of the main ruling Serbia’s Progressive Party (SNS) and former prime minister, Milos Vucevic, says that holding early parliamentary elections in late 2026 is a “realistic” date, while the authoritarian President Aleksandar Vucic, who controls the party, continues to keep the enigma over the date despite pledges to call them.
Milos Vucevic, told daily Kurir Sunday that holding early vote at the end of next year is “a realistic and responsible” date, as anti-President protesting students keeps calling Vucic to set a date for early parliamentary elections.
