EU Commission includes Serbia’s contested lithium project in its strategic raw materials projects list

Brussels, 04 June 2025, dtt-net.com – The European commission (EC) today included Jadar lithium project in western Serbia’s municipality of Loznica, in its list of 13 strategic projects for raw materials in non-EU countries needed four European bloc’s automotive industry, and which is strongly opposed by opposition and environmental organizations in the candidate country because of ecological and environmental concerns and risks.
