Skopje, 15 October 2025, dtt-net.com – The President of European Commission (EC) today in Skopje reiterated the EU call to change the Constitution by including Bulgarian community in it, a condition imposed by Bulgaria and embraced by other 26 member states, in order North Macedonia can launch accession talks.
“The next and only step before the opening of the negotiations is clear. You need to make the agreed constitutional change. The ball is in your court. The EU is ready,” Ursula von der Leyen said through X, after meeting leaders of country’s institutions today.
