Brussels, 19 February 2026, dtt-net.com – The European Commission (EC) today recalled that efficiency of the judiciary in the fight against corruption is fundamental for Albania’s membership process, as the Prime Minister Edi Rama is about to make criminal law changes to shield himself and other government members from being suspended by local court even when indicted as is the case of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku.
