EU continues helping Bosnia border authorities against migrant smuggling

Sarajevo, 13 February 2026, dtt-net.com – The EU and several of its member states today handed over to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) border authorities specialized equipment aimed at helping country’s fight against migrants smuggling on their way to the EU territory. The equipment which includes unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and camera systems worth of 200 000 Euros, will be used for training and improvement the operational readiness and technical skills of BiH Border Police officers, according to a press release by BiH border police.
