Strasbourg, 15 February 2023, dtt-net.com – After answering a question of EU lawmakers yesterday over refusal of Serbia to join EU sanctions against Russia, the European Commissioner for enlargement of the bloc, Oliver Varhelyi, was heard saying in Hungarian: “How many more idiots are still left?”, but today he denied that he was referring to members of the European Parliament (EP) saying that it was a “misunderstanding” by them as he was speaking on a “different matter” with his chief of cabinet.
