Brussels, 13 May 2025, dtt-net.com – Members of the European Parliament (EP) in a draft-resolution adopted today by EP’s Foreign Affairs Committee (AFET) expressed concern about attempts of Serb parties in the governing coalition in Montenegro to amend Law on Montenegrin citizenship, aiming to increase the number of Montenegro nationals of Serb ethnicity which would cause “long-term implications for country’s decision-making processes and identity” as consequence.
