Tivat, 05 June 2026, dtt-net.com – The Chancellor of Germany today in Montenegrin town of Tivat said that Sebia should take a side between the EU or Russia and China, as the current policy of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic of maintaining the balance between the two camps “is not possible”.
Friedrich Merz said he and other leaders of the EU countries and EU institutions, at the summit held today in coastal town of Tivat, met with Vucic and discussed the issue, as under Vucic’s leadership Serbia continues to build strong ties with Russia and China and at the same time maintains to become member of the European bloc, despite multiple criticisms for years now by European leaders over his two-seat policy.
