Kosovo government calls the EU to condemn Serbia minister’s ethnic cleansing statement

Prishtina/Brussels, 19 July 2026, dtt-net.com – Kosovan Minister of Foreign Affairs, called the European Union to “issue a clear and public condemnation” of the statement of Serbia’s minister Snežana Paunović, who said last week that she would have ethnically cleansed Kosovo of Albanians during the 1998-1999 war. “… I kindly request that the European Union issue a clear and public condemnation of Miniter Paunovic's statement and the revisionist rhetoric it represents,” Gllauk Konjufca wrote in a letter to the EU chief of diplomacy Kaja Kallas.
