Tirana, 24 October 2023, dtt-net.com – The leader of the fraction of the Democratic Party (PD), Sali Berisha, today refused to attend a hearing at the court and sent his lawyer instead, citing his parliamentary immunity, over an investigation launched by the prosecution where he is suspected of corruption and abuse of office related to privatization process of a public property in capital Tirana for the 2005-2009 period , over what his son-in-law was arrested during the weekend on charges of corruption and money laundering.
