Montenegro bans entrance of 87 Serbia nationals ahead of summit with the EU for security reasons

Podgorica, 03 June 2026, dtt-net.com – Montenegrin authorities today did not allow entrance of some 87 Serbia nationals who landed from Belgrade to Tivat airport through a charter flight, for security reasons two days ahead of a summit in the town between the EU and Western Balkans countries. The Police Directorate said that persons of the flight which landed earlier this morning were held and not allowed to enter Montenegro territory at Tivat Airport and checked over their reasons wanting to enter Montenegro ahead of the EU-Western Balkans Summit which takes place in the town Friday (June 5).
