Montenegro parliament adopts resolution on WWII war crimes in Croatia’s Jasenovac, prompting protest from Zagreb

Podgorica/Zagreb, 28 June 2024, dtt-net.com – Initiated by pro-Serbia parties, the Parliament of Montenegro Friday adopted a resolution on WWII war crimes in Croatia’s Jasenovac, in counter-response to the support by the government to the United General Assembly resolution on Srebrenica Genocide adopted last month, a move in Podgorica which is strongly protested by Croatian government which warned of harm to relations between the two countries and to the EU pathway of Montenegro where Zagreb has veto power.
