Podgorica/Brussels, 19 June 2024, dtt-net.com – The Parliament of Montenegro today voted in favour of remaining two laws for the second time, which are part of reforms needed for EU membership negotiations, after the President Jakov Milatovic refused to decree them citing the need for editorial independence of the public broadcaster of the country, RTCG, and also lack of incompatibility of the law on the Judicial Council and Judges with the Constitution related to the duration of mandates of council’s members.
