Podgorica/Brussels, 03 February 2026, dtt-net.com – Ministers of Western Balkans countries and the EU Commission today did not reach a joint position over problems faced by region’s truck drivers amid EU visa rules limitations to their daily work of transporting merchandise to and from the EU territory.
The Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, said after the online meeting with representatives of the European Commission (EC) that a joint working group will be set for an eventual joint proposal which then would need to be tackled by governments of 27 member states.
