Brussels/Belgrade, 26 June 2026, dtt-net.com – The European Commission (EC) said it is assessing whether yesterday adoption by Serbia’s Parliament of reviewed controversial January changes to a set of judiciary laws are done as suggested by the Venice Commission of Council Europe.
“Yesterday’s adoption of the new judiciary amendments is an important step in the right direction. The Commission is currently assessing their alignment with the Venice Commission Recommendations,” a spokesperson of the EC told dtt-net.com.
