Tirana/Brussels, 28 May 2026, dtt-net.com – Albania institutions should focus their efforts on quality of reforms and their proper implementation, especially when it comes to the laws on judiciary and rule of law, needed for the second phase of country’s EU accession negotiations, a Dutch diplomat told today Albanian lawmakers.
Ambassador Reinout Vos called the Parliament to do its work over cluster 1 of negotiating chapters, known as ‘Fundamentals’ which are opened first and closed last in the EU membership process.
