Skopje, 27 May 2026, dtt-net.com – A Macedonian opposition party today called for a referendum in the country, amid ongoing impasse over EU accession negotiations blocked since 2022, as the government led by the conservative prime minister refuses to make constitutional changes imposed by Bulgaria and embraced by other member states unless the two meet his counter-conditions related to Macedonian community in Bulgaria and Macedonian identity and language.
