Skopje/Brussels, dtt-net.com – President of North Macedonia Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova today reiterated her criticism over the condition that the European Union is imposing the country in the process of joining the European bloc, which many in Skopje believe they are essentially related to Bulgaria's rejection of Macedonian identity, culture, history and language.
At a forum held in Antalya, Turkey, she said that such conditionality is contrary to the Lisbon Treaty, which defines the rules for the functioning of the EU and which also include the rules and reforms that countries interested in EU membership must meet.
