Skopje, 18 September 2024, dtt-net.com – The Constitutional Court of North Macedonia today voted to temporarily freeze the implementation of the so-called “balancer” law, which is used for proportional employment of country’s citizens in the public sector based on ethnicity, and which is one of the main elements of the Ohrid Agreement which ended the 2001 armed conflict in the country between local Albanian guerrilla and state forces.
