Belgrade, 29 July 2024, dtt-net.com – Citizens and environmentalists today went to the streets in four towns and a municipality in capital Belgrade to protest against the planned lithium mining project in western municipality Loznica, as the government ten days ago signed with the EU a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of ‘Strategic Partnership’ on raw materials, batteries and electric vehicles, aiming to start lithium mining in 2028.
