Brussels/Belgrade, 21 January 2026, dtt-net.com – The Russia-friendly and EU candidate country from the Western Balkans refused to align with December prolongation of sanctions of the EU on Russia for another six months and additional sanctions on Russian individuals and companies and 41 vessels banned from EU ports and locks.
Serbia is not in the list of non-EU countries which aligned with the new sanction decisions of the EU of last month over Russian military aggression against Ukraine.
