Belgrade/Brussels, 26 July 2023, dtt-net.com – A clear majority of Serbia citizens are against membership of the country in the European Union if the condition would be recognition of Kosovo’s independence, according to a new opinion survey.
The New Serbian political thought (NSPM) said its opinion survey made last month showed that 77 percent of those interviewed said they if the recognition of Kosovo’s independence would be a condition for Serbia becoming member of the European bloc, then they are against joining the organization.
12.7 percent said they would support such a condition and 10.3 percent had no answer, according to the NSPM survey.
