Serbia lawmaker calls prosecutors to initiate proceedings against President accusing him of ordering forgery for Trump’s son-in-law hotel project

Belgrade, 23 January 2026, dtt-net.com – A opposition lawmaker in Serbia today called on the prosecutor’s office do not exempt authoritarian President Aleksandar Vucic from charges over forgery of documents related to a hotel project for Donald Trump’s son-in-law. Marinika Tepic of the opposition Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP) said that the prosecutor’s office for organized crime should detain and question him over his direct role in illegally removing former army’s headquarters – damaged by NATO airstrikes during 1999 Kosovo war – from cultural heritage list to pave the way for Jared Kushner project following 2024 deal between the government and Kushner’s company.
