Trial launched in Serbia on minister over indictment related to Trump’s son-in-law hotel project

Belgrade, 04 February 2026, dtt-net.com – A trial is launched today in Serbian capital Belgrade against a minister and three others charged by the prosecutor’s office against organized crime of illegally removing the former army headquarter from cultural heritage list aimed at paving the way for a hotel project for Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. The Minister of Culture Nikola Selakovic and three others pleaded not guilty to the charges of documents forgery which made Kushner’s company to abandon the project despite deal with the government in 2024.
