Brussels, 12 November 2024, dtt-net.com – The Estonian nominee for the EU High Representative post, Kaja Kalas, failed to include Western Balkans in her list of top concerns during her introductory statement and spoke only briefly about the region in the context of enlargement policy today at the hearing she had with European Parliament (EP) members, and it needed a question of an MEP from Croatia to make her emphasize importance of the troubled region, focused on EU-mediated talks between Kosovo and Serbia, and tensions in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
