Prishtina, 13 February 2024, dtt-net.com – Members of the USA government today warned Kosovan Prime Minister Albin Kurti that relations between the two sides may be harmed if he doesn’t listen the Washington advice to suspend implementation of the ban on cash payments in Serbian Dinar impacting Kosovo Serb minority.
“I don’t threaten vaguely in public, I’ll just say if we are not treated as a partner we may not treat him as a partner,” the Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, James O’Brien told Radio Voice of America (VoA) in Albanian language today, when asked if the USA would impose restrictive measures on Kosovo over the new row as has the EU done in June last year.
