07 July 2026, dtt-net.com – The USA LNG exports increased for 22.3 Mt in 2025 to 110.74 Mt (150,6 bcm), thus still the largest global exporter representing 25,3% of 436.98 Mt (594,29 bcm) of global exports of the fossil fuel energy source, according to the latest International Gas Union (IGU) report.
Qatar follows with 81.5 Mt (110,84 bcm) or 18.7% of exports. Australia is third with 80.3 Mt (109,20 bcm) or with 18.4% of global exports.
Russia felt to fourth place with 30.5 Mt (41,48) with only 7.0% of global esport, followed by Malaysia with 28.8 Mt (39,16 bcm) with 6.6% of exports globally.
