While Trump’s cabinet position still enigmatic, NATO’s Mark Rutte calls Kosovo and Serbia to make compromises through EU-mediated talks

Prishtina, 11 March 2025, dtt-net.com – At the moment when the new USA government is refusing to clarify its position over the EU-mediated talks between Kosovo and Serbia, NATO’s new Secretary General Mark Rutte today repeated previous calls of the western military alliance to both sides to “show flexibility and make necessary compromises” through currently stalled negotiations mediated by the European bloc for what western powers calls “normalization” of ties between the two neighbouring countries which focuses on the proposal for an controversial autonomous body for Kosovan Serbs.
