Prishtina, 15 August 2025, dtt-net.com – Kosovo’s special prosecution today said it filed an indictment in absentia against 21 of Serbia army and police on charges of forcible deportation of 862,979 Kosovan Albanian civilians during the 1999 war of independence from Serbia.
Prosecution said the actions of 21 indicted, who had command responsibilities in Serbia forces, resulted in forcible expulsion of civilians to Albania and North Macedonia during January-June 1999.
