Prishtina, 31 October 2025, dtt-net.com – The outgoing government of Kosovo, with several of its members also holding parliamentary seats including the caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti, today approved a draft-budget for 2026 and increases of several social benefits for citizens, strongly contested by opponent parties and civic society organizations.
Opponent political parties and several non-governmental organizations say Kurti’s outgoing government took the decision of draft-budget in breach of constitution and laws amid double official positions being held by several of cabinet members after February elections, while parties accuse him also of attempt of “vote buying” ahead of municipal runoff elections and new parliamentary elections…
