Prishtina, 23 January 2026, dtt-net.com – Kosovo police today said it detained so far 109 people in the municipality of southern town of Prizren, over election fraud of vote results for candidates for parliament seats in December elections, while recount of votes in all polling stations in 28 of total 34 municipalities continue.
According to a joint statement by the police and the prosecutor’s office, the detainees are expected to be charged of "Falsification of voting results", "Threat" and/or "Giving or receiving a bribe in connection with voting".
