Skopje, 26 February 2026, dtt-net.com – North Macedonia is eyeing to construct three more gas-fired power plants, on top of the project in southern municipality of Bitola, according to country’s prime minister.
Referring to the last year agreement signed with Turkiye’s AKSA company, Hristijan Mickoski told the parliament today one such power pant is planned to be constructed in capital Skopje, one halfway between Gostivar and Tetovo, and one potentially when gas is transported to Kicevo and the Oslomej TPP is transformed by adding a gas turbine in addition to a steam turbine.
